WELCOME TO OUR FARM SHOP IN LOFOTEN!
Ever since our first summer in Norway in 1997, the dream arose of making good cheese, sausages and other foods that do justice to the fantastic Norwegian nature.
With that goal in mind, we bought the farm at Saupstad in December 2000. We started to operate the farm with organic and bio dynamic principles, to exploit the best possible use of local resources and characteristic flavors.
Today we sell our cheeses in the farm shop, and you can also have our cheeses served in the farm café. We also sell cheeses in the local grocery stores in Lofoten, and in selected places in the rest of the country. Many of the restaurants in Lofoten also have our products on the menu.
We offer cheese making course, where you learn how to make cheese.
At the farm we have goats, chickens and pigs. We welcome visits for guided tours, but this must be booked in advance.
SUSTAINABLE AND ORGANIC
Central in our work is organic farming and sustainable use of the resources located on the farm. To make real quality products from the unique raw materials we have here in Lofoten, is important to us.
We do this with pleasure, and hope to influence more people to grow and produce organic and local food.
We grow and produce food according to organic and biologic dynamic principles and are certified by Debio and Demeter.
